On October 21, 2006, the GW Cheerleaders joined Coach McKeown and the Women's Basketball Team to participate in the WALK NOW Walk for Autism on the National Mall!

"WALK NOW unites the the community in support of those affected by autism with a noncompetitive 5K walk and community resource fair, raising necessary funds for autism research, awareness and outreach."

This annual DC event raised over $650,000.00 for autism research.
