Valet Parking to Fundraise
Recently the GW Cheer team found themselves in a unique position to fundraise for the opportunity to compete at in their College Nationals Tournament in April. A local but nationally recognized valet and driver service, Atlantic Services Group, presented the opportunity to contribute to the teams fundraising in exchange for help with valet parking for one of their biggest events on November 4th. Eleven team members signed up to work the event and had an amazing time.
 The event consisted of the 11 Cheer Team members as well as other staff provided by Atlantic Services Group to park for nearly 400 cars. The beginning and end of the evening was obviously busy but once all the cars were parked and a there was a down period, the Cheerleaders did what they to best. They Stunted!
Stunting obviously drew a crowd and made the evening enjoyable for the staff and the clients whose cars we were parking. The event went smoothly and fortunately no car was damaged through the course of the evening. Currently Spirit Program staff is coordinating with Atlantic Services Group to participate in future events.
