Capture the Spirit Photo Contest
Do you have a picture that captures
the essence of GW spirit?
The annual Spirit Photo Contest is here! The top three photos will be shown at Colonials Invasion on Thursday, October 23. The winner will have their photo enlarged and displayed prominently on campus. The winner will also receive an enlarged framed print of their own.
The deadline to submit your photo is Sunda, October 11, 2009 at 5:00pm. Send your photos to goGW@gwu.edu.

Contest Rules
1. Currently enrolled students are invited to submit up to 3 photos for the Spirit Photo Contest.
2. Photos must be a minimum of 100 dpi.
3. General Guidelines: Photos should NOT contain content that
• is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, torturous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
• show nudity, partial nudity or adult content;
• show illegal acts;
• harm minors in any way;
• endorse a vendor or a product;
• reference alcohol or drugs, show participants drinking or under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
4. All entries must be submitted by email to goGW@gwu.edu by Sunday, October 11, 2009 by 5:00pm.
5. Submission of a photo to the contest is understood to mean that you give permission for The George Washington University to use your photo in promoting the institution, using photographer’s name, hometown, major and year.
6. All photos will be reviewed and the top three entries will be featured on the GW Spirit Program website.
7. The winning photo will have an oppportunity to be enlarged and displayed prominently on campus. The winner will also receive an enlarged framed print of their own.
