Favorite
GW Memory: Do I have to choose one?! Ok, I’m
going to cheat a little bit…my favorite memory isn’t one specific moment, but a
period of time. Being on the Colonial
Cabinet (Cab Oncé!) was by far the most life-changing experience I have had at
GW. I not only was part of the 34 strong
that welcomed the amazing Class of 2015, but I grew as a person and met 33
amazing people that no doubt will be my friends for the rest of my life. It’s a summer that I sure will never forget!
How
do you Define School Spirit: While I am a Sports
Management major, I do not believe that spirit at GW just revolves around what
happens on the field or on the court (that being said, GO COLONIALS!). Rather, it’s the community that we form
together and the experiences that we share as a student body. Whether it is us celebrating the Inauguration
of a President, having a spirited political debate, beautifying an elementary
school in Southeast, cheering on one of the 23 varsity teams, or watching (or,
in my case, performing) an a cappella concert at the Marvin Center, we as a
community come out together as one body to cheer each other on and support one
another in whatever endeavors we decide to take on here at GW. Being able to enjoy and celebrate everyone’s
achievements is, in my mind, what school spirit is all about.
This
is why you should vote me as Mr. GW 2013: First, it’s
an honor to even be nominated by my peers for this title, so thank you to all
who took the time to nominate all of us.
Over the last four years, I have been able to meet some amazing people
and do some pretty incredible things at GW, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to
have had this experience. I have poured
my heart out to this university, and will continue to do so long after I
graduate. Whether it’s Raising High the
Buff and Blue in my exorbitant amount of GW gear, being a guide to the incoming
students about their next four years at GW, or being part of the best a
cappella group on campus, I’ve pretty much done it all and have loved every
minute of it. In paraphrasing the fight
song, “you bet I’m loyal to GW!” and I always will be. Thank you for your vote, and Raise High!

GW Memory:
My favorite GW memories are the countless hours I have spent
at Froggy Bottom Pub. Throughout the past four years, I have eaten meals,
shared stories, brainstormed ideas, and appreciated craziness at the tables of
Froggy alongside nearly everyone who has been a part of my life at GW - my roommates, best friends, sisters,
mentors, mentees, coworkers, classmates and peers.
How
do you Define School Spirit:
School spirit is being excited to contribute to the GW community and proud to
call GW your home.
This
is why you should vote me as Miss GW 2013: I have loved being involved in
the livelihood of GW for the past four years, and I am so appreciative of the
people and experiences that made me laugh and helped me grow.
