SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR INITIATIVES
Career Development
In collaboration with the Career Center, students develop the skills needed to obtain an internship and/or part-time job. This program will include resume-building and critiquing, creation of cover letters, and interview skills. We encourage team members to pursue internships of interest to them and to their career goals during their time at GW.
Campus Involvement
Development of resources for team members to become involved on campus in several activities, with particular focus on programs such as Colonial Cabinet. Discussions will take place regarding activities that the team member is involved in, and how the activity will benefit them in the classroom and in the future.
Leadership Development
Structured leadership development focused in enhancing interpersonal communication skills, decision-making, developing mentoring skills, time management, and coaching strategies.
