Mascot Appearance Request Info

Are you looking for a way to add some life to your parties, business meetings, or special events? Try a visit from GW's favorite mascots, George, Big George and Hippo.  GW fans and students alike can't help but love the fun and antics of George, his ten foot counterpart, Big George, and their twelve foot friend Hippo!  If you would like to have an exciting and memorable addition to your birthday party, sales meeting, classroom, or special event, please fill out the form below and hit "SUBMIT".  One of our Mascot Coordinators will respond to your request.

Hippogram: $50.00, $25.00 (student rate)
A Hippogram includes a visit from any of the 3 lovable GW Mascots for about 15 minutes. We will provide helium balloons, a personalized card, and will take a Polaroid photo to capture the moment. Special deliveries are available on campus or in a metro accessible location. Big George is only available to appear in locations with 12 foot or higher ceilings or outdoors.

GW Department/Student Org Event Appearance - $50.00/hour
GW Department Appearances are for events lasting up to two hours, which are sponsored by a George Washington University Department or other unit.

Nonprofit Organization Appearance - $150.00
For nonprofit organizations functions up to two hours in length.

Corporate Appearances - $350.00
Up to two hours in length.

Schools (K-12) - $25.00
For one hour appearance.

Weddings - $450.00
Up to two hours in length.

***Big George and Hippo are only available to appear to locations with 12 foot or higher ceilings or outdoors. All appearances are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and are dependent upon mascot availability.  The above rates reflect an appearance by one mascot only and requests for additional mascots will incur additional fees.  An additional fee of .32 cents per mile will be added to non-metro accessible locations. Please give at least ten (10) days notice.***
