First Ladies DANCE TEAM
The First Ladies Dance Team is made up of 16 scholarship members. Auditions are held once per year (April) for incoming freshmen, transfer students, and all current GW students who are in good academic and judicial standing.
The First Ladies perform at all home Men's and Women's basketball games, travel with both teams during March Madness, and participate in many community and campus events. The First Ladies are a nationally-ranked team that competes annually at the UDA Collegiate Dance Championship in Orlando, Florida each January where the compete in both the jazz and hip-hop divisions.
Scholarships
GW offers a competitive scholarship program which awards stipends to all members of the Spirit Program based on their number of years involved with the program. These awards apply to tuition and University fee charges.
